Fishing Lake Michigan
A morning of fishing from a deck built for it — rod holders loaded, fishfinder on, and ample space to work a fish when it goes. Kids are welcome aboard, and when the lines come up the catch gets cleaned and filleted.

A Michigan fishing license is required — available online, or ask the captain. Some species may need a special tag or be off-limits, so it's worth checking what's in season. Tips aren't required, but a 20% tip for the mate is customary.

Not every trip sets lines. Captain Anthony Sova specializes in boat tours and scenic cruises — relaxing sightseeing on Lake Michigan aboard the same Cherokee, out of the same port. With 10 years of experience fishing Lake Michigan, he knows the water well.

Hours: Open 6:00 AM–8:00 PM, every day. We're out fishing 6:00–12:00 and 3:00–8:00, and back at the dock in between — we return messages as soon as we're back.
